Hi,

I got Flash 10 installed in IE (and therefore Impulse) and Opera and in none of them the image uploader of the accounts image tab is available (Impulse warns me even that Flash 9 or greater is required) (thus I can't update my desktop image for example).

As some of you might have heard, Adobe released Flash Player 10 today.  Unfortunately, this update is incompatible with the upload mechanism for WinCustomize and the GUI Champs.  We are aware, and we are working on a solution, but until then you will need to stick with Flash Player 9 to upload skins and images.

We will update with more info soon.

The best way to update images is do it my way!!!

1. You get into your fast car and drive to Stardock!

2. When you get there - you bolt inside the building and ask the receptionist where are the servers?

3. You dash up to the server room and ask the attendant there to add your images from the flash drive you hand him to your account.

Thus you have a new set of images via Flash 10!!!

I've got a possibly related problem...possibly not.  Flip a coin, but it's an icon issue and I figure somebody else encountering it in the future might find this thread when searching.

Just activated my forum account last night and I'm not having any trouble with the uploading per se, but my image does not seem to appear on the forum posts I made last night, before uploading said image.  (Refreshed, restarted and switched browsers from IE to FF since.)

Posting this right now to test whether it appears on a post only after uploading -- will edit with results and post further...

The results:  Wow.  There it is, but still nothing on the old posts.  That's an interesting quirk PHP doesn't have.  Okay...so I've learned something.  If this is something that can't be changed to update old posts...perhaps a note on the image upload page would be advisable to avoid confusion?
